Antique World War I Private G.P. Brown Distinguished Service Medal, Albany, New York.

This is a World War I Patriotic Service Medal issued by the city of Albany, New York, USA, to veterans who lived in the city and served in the U.S. Armed Forces from 1917 to 1919.

In good condition, with only minor marks on the ribbon, light marks, scratches, soiling, stains, tarnish, and wear. 3 inches high, 1 1/4 inches wide.

Here is a very nice WWI US War service medal awarded by Albany, NY to add to your collection. 
It was engraved with the recipients name on it: "FAR. E. F. LUBNER" (presented to horse shoer - Farrier).
