Vintage 1952 IATSE 41st Convention Medallion Minneapolis – Rare Union Collectib.

Vintage 1952 IATSE 41st Convention Medallion Pin – Minneapolis, MN – Rare Union Collectible

It's a beautiful and well-preserved vintage enamel medallion / badge from the 41st Convention of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE), held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, August 4-8, 1952.
This striking piece is a medallion with rich blue enamel center and gold-tone metal borders and accents. It features the classic IATSE emblem — a circular design with crossed American and Canadian flags, theatrical symbols, and the organization's full name prominently displayed.

The front reads:
INT'L ALLIANCE OF THEATRICAL STAGE
EMPLOYEES & MOVING PICTURE MACHINE OPERATORS OF U S & C
with the location MINNEAPOLIS MINNESOTA AUGUST 1952 at the bottom.

The reverse (back) is stamped in gold:
41ST ST CONVENTION
MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM
MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA
AUGUST 4-8, 1952

Condition: Good vintage condition for its 73+ years. The enamel is bright and intact with nice shine — only minor surface wear and some patina on the golden metal. The ear at the top is strongly bent (see photo).
This is a scarce piece of labor history — IATSE (the union behind stagehands, theatrical technicians, movie projectionists, and entertainment industry workers) held its 41st quadrennial convention in Minneapolis at the Municipal Auditorium.

Measurements: 2 x 1.5 inches.
