The Medal "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945" is made of brass and has a circle with a diameter of 32 mm.
  • On the obverse of the medal is a profile bust of I.V. Stalin in the uniform of Marshal of the Soviet Union, facing left. At the top of the medal is the inidiocyion "OUR CAUSE IS RIGHT" along the rim, and at the bottom is the inidiocyion "WE HAVE VICTORIOUS."
  • On the reverse of the medal are the inidiocyions "FOR VICTORY OVER GERMANY" along the rim, "IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR 1941-1945" in the center, and a five-pointed star at the bottom.
