Vintage RAOB Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes Ceremonial Collar Chain

For sale is a beautiful vintage ceremonial collar chain from the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes (RAOB) – one of the oldest and largest fraternal organizations in the UK, founded in 1822. This impressive piece features repeating enameled brass medallions with the classic intertwined RAOB monogram in red, blue, and white enamel, each surmounted by a crowned royal emblem.

The chain is made of brass (yellow metal) links connecting oval medallions – a classic design worn by lodge officers (Primo, Knight, etc.) during rituals, meetings, and charitable events. 
  • Overall length approx. 24 in.
  • Width - 2 in.
Condition: Good vintage condition with age-appropriate patina and some chips/cracks to enamel on a few medallions (as is typical for these 20th-century pieces – please see all close-up photos for exact details). 
A wonderful collectible for fraternal regalia enthusiasts, Masonic/RAOB historians, or British lodge memorabilia collectors.
