Rare WWI British Medal Group with Italian War Medal in Spink & Son Case

Rare mounted group of four First World War medals in the original Spink & Son Ltd. presentation case.

Group includes:

• Order of the Crown of Italy – white enamelled cross with Savoy knots and double-headed eagle central medallion (red & white ribbon)
• British War Medal 1914–1920 (silver) – St. George reverse
• Allied Victory Medal 1914–1919 (gilt bronze) – “THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILISATION” reverse, rainbow ribbon
• Italian Commemorative War Medal 1915–1918 (bronze) – “CONIATA NEL BRONZO NEMICO” reverse, Italian tricolor ribbon

The recipient likely served with British forces on the Italian Front in 1917–1918.

Housed in the original brown case by Spink & Son Ltd., London (royal warrant holders).

Condition: Very good vintage condition with nice patina. Enamel intact, ribbons with light age wear, case solid with minor scuffs. Please see photos for details.
