Antique 1924 BPOE Elks Grand Lodge Boston Convention Badge with 1923 Ohio State

Rare vintage 1924 BPOE Elks delegate badge from the 60th Annual Grand Lodge Reunion in Boston, Massachusetts (July 1924).

• The top bar features a beautifully scrolled Art Deco-style banner with embossed text: “GRAND LODGE BPOE” and “BOSTON JULY 1924”.
• Suspended by a chain is a 1923 Ohio State Fair round pendant with white enamel border and gold lettering “OHIO STATE FAIR 1923”. The center shows a detailed relief scene of Ohio agriculture: rising sun, mountains, fields, farmers, livestock and wheat sheaves.
• Made of gold-toned metal (likely gilded brass).
• Total length approx. 2–3 inches.
• Maker’s mark on reverse of pendant: “SHIRLEY & CO. COLUMBUS, O.”

Condition:

• Pinback clasp on reverse is missing
