Rare early 17th-century Spanish gilt bronze plaquette depicting Saint Jerome in the Wilderness. The saint is shown kneeling and holding a crucifix, with an open book, skull, and his lion at his feet. Excellent relief detail and original gilding.

Measurements: 3.75" × 2.75" (missing suspension loop at top, therefore slightly shorter than museum example), weight 291 g. H
