Vintage Altenburg-Stralsunder (ASS) Double Deck Playing Cards – Made in West Germany

Up for sale is a beautiful factory-sealed double deck of vintage playing cards by the famous German manufacturer Altenburg-Stralsunder (also known as ASS Altenburger).

What’s included:

• Original decorative box with ornate gold design and “Original Altenburg-Stralsunder Playing Cards” lettering + ACE logo
• Two factory-sealed decks (never opened) feature a distinctive four-color back design in red, black and green with central suit symbols and elegant gold borders
• Attractive gold-trimmed presentation case/holder with blue and red backs

These are genuine New Old Stock (NOS) cards in excellent sealed condition. The cards have never been used and remain in their original cellophane wrapping. Perfect for collectors of vintage playing cards, bridge players, or anyone who appreciates quality German craftsmanship.

Altenburg-Stralsunder was one of Germany’s most respected playing card companies (now part of the Cartamundi group) and produced some of the finest cards in Europe during this period.

Condition: Sealed and unused. The outer box shows light age-related wear consistent with its age (see photos). Cards inside are sealed.
