The Original Joan of Arc Medal from the 1950s features a bronze composition with a silvered finish, originating from France.
This medal pays homage to Joan of Arc, commemorating her significant contributions during the Hundred Years War.

Obverse : Joan of Arc, facing left, wearing a laurel wreath, surrounded by numerous fleur-de-lis (French lilies) and crosses (often Lily of Lorraine). This is a classic depiction of the saint as a warrior and a symbol of France.

Reverse : Joan of Arc's coat of arms — a shield with a royal crown atop and a vertical sword (sometimes with lilies), surrounded by branches/leaves. Around the circle is the inidiocyion: DOMREMY • ORLÉANS • ROUEN (or with dots/stars) and the dates 1412–1431—these are key places and years of her life:
  • Domremy—her birthplace (c. 1412),
  • Orléans—the liberation of Orleans in 1429 (her major victory),
  • Rouen—Rouen, where she was burned at the stake in 1431.

Engraver's signature (on the reverse, in small letters at the bottom): L. CHALIN PARIS or CHALIN PARIS—this refers to the medalist/maker Louis Chalin (or the Chalin workshop) from Paris.

With a focus on historical accuracy and craftsmanship, this medal serves as a unique and valuable collectible for numismatists and history enthusiasts.
