Rare Vintage Vorarlberg Tourism Merit Medal & Lapel Pin Set in Case - Austria

Rare complete set of the official Medal for Merits in Vorarlberg Tourism (Medaille für Verdienste um den Vorarlberger Fremdenverkehr), awarded by the Vorarlberger Fremdenverkehrsverband in Austria.

Set includes:

• Large silver medal, diameter 40 mm, with the coat of arms of Vorarlberg and inidiocyion "FÜR VERDIENSTE UM DEN VORARLBERGER FREMDENVERKEHR"
• Matching miniature lapel pin (button), diameter 16 mm, inscribed "VORARLBERGER FREMDENVERKEHR", marked "R. Souvenir Wien" on the reverse
• Original red presentation case with velvet interior
• Triangular red-and-white ribbon

This scarce regional Austrian tourism award was given for outstanding contributions to the development of tourism in the province of Vorarlberg. Complete sets with the original box and lapel pin from the mid-20th century are rarely found on the market.

Condition: Very good vintage condition with attractive patina and minor surface wear consistent with age. The ribbon and case show light storage marks. Please see all photos for exact condition.
